About the Course

NSE Academy Certified Capital Market Professional (NCCMP) course is a short-term certificate course offered by Janki Devi Memorial College (JDMC) in collaboration with National Stock Exchange (NSE) Academy Ltd. The details regarding admission to the course are as follows:

  1. Eligibility: Should have passed class 12th or equivalent examination. Students pursuing graduation are also eligible.
  2. Course duration: It is a 100 hours course (80 hours theory and 20 hours practical). The classes will be held during August, 2017 to March, 2018.
  3. Admission form: Admission form is available on the college website (www.jdm.du.ac.in). The form, duly filled, is to be submitted to the Course Co-ordinators.
  4. Fees: The all-inclusive fee is Rs. 16000/-. This fee includes payment towards study material, practical training sessions and online-examination fee. The fee is to be deposited at the commencement of the course by cheque or demand draft.
  5. Certificate: On successful completion of the course, the candidate will be issued a joint certificate by JDMC and NSE Academy.
  6. Documents: Copies of the following should be attached along with the Admission form- Aadhar card/Identity card, marksheet of Class 12th or equivalent examination and proof of present status of study/work, if any (college fee payment receipt/ I-card).
  7. The registration is on the first-come-first-serve basis.

3. What is the tentative schedule of the classes?
The 100 hours sessions would be distributed over the two semesters of the academic sessions during weekdays. There shall be two classes of two hours duration in a week (3–5p.m or 2:30-4:30p.m., subject to availability of experts/faculty). Classes will be conducted during winter/ mid-semester breaks as well.

4. How will the course help?
The course is developed to not only impart knowledge about the capital markets, but it also enables students to develop skills to operate, invest and provide services in the capital markets.

5. What is the examination methodology?
Mid-term exam- will be conducted by the college.
Project work- needs to be submitted, on the topics provided, before the candidate appears for the end-term exam.
End-term exam- On-line examination will be conducted by the NSE academy.

6. What are the requisites for the course completion?
The student must secure atleast 50% marks in Mid-term as well as End-term examination. The project work should be of satisfactory quality.
