The JDMC website presents a panoramic view of the work done by the college. It also provides an interactive interface between the teachers and the students. Created on a user-friendly mode, the web platform allows easy access to the viewers. Students and teachers alike can access the work done by the college at multiple levels. In 2016 the website started an interesting feature, "Interactive Classroom". It enabled the students to access quizzes prepared by the teachers as per their convenience. During the pandemic, this feature was developed further to provide students with course material on a weekly basis.

Working towards greater interaction using the online platform, the website is now a part of the Centre for e-resource development. In this regard the idea is to develop the website to facilitate e-resource generation and strengthen its function as an interactive interface between teachers and students. It is therefore proposed that the existing website must lead to an entirely new e-learning platform to deliver the following:

e-material: This section will provide the students with course material and important links

Ø links

Ø Pdfs

Ø Articles

Ø you-tube lectures

Ø power point presentations

Ø Q and A

e-lecart: This will be a unique feature on the JDMC website. It will carry articles and lectures generated by the teachers and other experts on both course topics and research areas

e-stuwall: This will be a unique feature on the JDMC website. It will carry articles, other research work, prize-winning work (poems, essays, performances) and audio-video recordings of performances, out-reach activities done by the students of the college.

E-projects-In keeping with good academic practices, the college has been encouraging teachers and students to engage with research projects. The college has also provided departments and teachers with funding for the same. The complete projects will be put up under this section.

This will be developed on an entirely new platform, and access will be provided from the main website. This will provide easy access to students and teachers to make use of the e-material generated by the teachers.

The executive members of the Website Committee are:

Ms Tarini Pandey (English)

Ms. Tannu Sharma (English)

Ms. Sonal Jain (Commerce)

Ms. Deepti (Economics)
