I was able to overcome my stage fright, express myself well, and emerge as a more confident and well-rounded individual thanks to the three years I spent at JDMC. The teachers not only provided excellent teaching but also provided emotional support to students who were experiencing a variety of difficulties. There used to be so many events and extracurricular activities going on around me that I felt motivated to participate in things like joining a dramatic society, organising and volunteering for events for my mathematics department, and attending multiple talks organised by other departments. Coming to JDMC has proved to be my life changer. I was literate even before but my real education began here.

I have been a Sociology student at JDMC from 2017 to 2020. Besides this discipline, the amenities, from rain-water harvesting system & a diverse garden including herbs, to a rich and comfortable library, an infrastructure adapted to special needs, distinguished lecture series from world's most sought-after artists&activists, short-term programmes about the social surveillance, and an atmosphere of intellectual experimentations; JDMC is actually capable enough of helping the young ladies grow into self-sustaining and supportive women. JDMC provided a friendly environment for learning. Teachers were always accessible and sincere towards teaching. While I had good exposure in activities and sports during my school time, a lot of students were lacking confidence so encouraging students to participate in extracurricular activities along with academic journey would help in giving them overall development. There should be a buddy system so that the language divide can be reduced, and everyone starts respecting diversity and build trust in each other.

JDMC helped me a lot in my education. College do offer students various facilities like libraries, canteens,internship facilities etc. These all facilities are a huge advantage for all the students.internship facilities help a lot and we do experience a lot in these internships.

The collage has a very ambient atmosphere for studying. The teachers are very helpful and dedicated towards their work and helps us in whatever doubts we have. The college regularly conducts extra curricular activities for our personality development.

I'm a part of this outstanding college,has so much to offer to its dear students. It has a research centre within the great library and a good infrastructure with a pleasent and supportive environment. It has several socities to enhance and develove ones skills and personality. NCC is an excellent society to develop ourselves and to serve others. It's has emerged out to be a winner in all the toughest times. This college has a cool principal along with mastermind professors who know how to deal with students and every situation. The greenary in college and rain water harvesting system is the best thing in college. Steps have been taken to save environment and future generations needs. The water facility is also good and it has four major computer labs which are open to students everytime when they need it. In the college library,newspaper and magazines are also available and few classrooms has digital boards also. Sanitation facilities are also up to the mark and maintained nicely each time. NCC and sports have helped the college to present itself as winners at every level.

Getting admission in Delhi University was one of the greatest joys of my life , before starting my journey with jdmc i had no expectations nothing i was looking forward to. I came with a blank mind to see what this place has offered me and its true to say that this college did wonders for me . As compared to other DU colleges i found jdmc much better . College helped me in fee concession because it was COVID time i was not able to pay the fee so college helped me to concessions my fee and I paid only half fee both of year 2nd and 3rd

The college indeed has helped in personal enhancement of personality. it has given me lot of opportunities and the privledge to become part of 7 different societies and all together various roles in the end of the year as coordinator and head. The teacher of the university specially sociology department has enabled me to develop to the core and there perspectives has intigrued me to develop my own perspectives. In JDMC, with theoretical knowledge, teachers also focused on practical knowledge, workshops and various other activities. All these things helped me a lot during MA. As I'm pursuing my MA in Bangalore, I got to know about new culture, societies, communities etc. The knowledge and education which I got from Department of Sociology in JDMC, I was able to relate everything in Bangalore. JDMC has helped in sharpening my skills . In the first year of my College I joined an add on course that was conducted by my department (BA Hons Sociology) . It helped me in gaining exposure and helped me in broadening my horizons as a budding sociologist. The education I received in JDMC, and the lessons I received from the esteemed faculty of this college, have had contributed significantly to my career and personal life. Lessons of 'what to do' and 'how to do' is what is deemed as education these days, but the professors of JDMC also taught us to figure out more nuanced question- like the "why". They instilled all students with intellectual curiosity and analytical reasoning. After almost three years after graduation, I can say for myself and many more like me that we were lucky to receive such quality education at a time when we need it the most.

JDMC definitely helped build my interest in research. The foundation for my career as a Ph.D scholar in History was built by the teachers in the history department. I was sure that this is the subject I want to pursue and I received all kind of moral and academic support from the department.

Being a part of the sports department is one of the best thing in my college life. Sports department has helped me in lot of ways and given the best mental support I could ever have in my low days. I am allowed to contact them anytime and the department help me in every possible way. Even in the lock down period ,timely meeting work conducted just to keep a check on us and help us in every possible way. We are given refreshment for free every small meetings and also the word of appreciation which means a lot. I was awarded as Best Performer Of The Year 2021 and received 800 rupees cash from the sports department , this was a great achievement for me and not just the price but the respect ,motivated me to work hard in future as well.

JDMC provided us a lot of facilities and opportunities, not just in the field of academics but also in extracurricular activities like different types societies( drama, music, dance, etc), conducting workshops, showing educational movies, college fests, department fests etc. All these helped us in our personality development and increased the confidence level. Quality of education is really good. All Professors focused on both theory and practical. Our Professors motivated us to do something different which helped us in our career growth.

JDMC played a very crucial role in my career, gave me many opportunities to enhance my knowledge. Our department of Human Development and Family Empowerment (HDFE) helped a lot to make me a better person.Especially in COVID times when there was no outdoor exposure, our teacher never let us feel away from college. The Joy of Giving, Project on retinoblastoma awareness, Working with kids, learning rights and responsibilities for women and children in our society, gave me an exposure of society at a grassroot level. Being a student of Sociology, I became inquisitive and endeavoured to seek answers to many queries. The Department of Sociology uplifted our personalities. Through various add-on courses, workshops and seminars held at the college, the students got the opportunity to meet eminent personalities, and scholars from the different fields at the premises and learn from their experiences. The Department always supported students to gain practical knowledge and explore diverse prospects. The guidance from our professors personally helped me in my pursuit of higher studies and made me determined to thrust along the field of research and contribute to academia.

The lucid lectures of my professors helped me understand the fundamentals of Sociology. The same created a foundation for me to perform well in the University exams and helped me secure a seat in the Masters programme at DSE. Their lectures on Sociology were sprinkled with the anecdotal references from their own research and the research carried out by other scholars which provided us with a view of the practical applicability of Sociology. This further helped me in acquiring a position of a Research Associate at an NGO that works tirelessly for the wellbeing of the society.

They helped me to enhance my knowledge and explore various domain in the subject of my interest. The faculty was very helpful and always motivated me to do good which were really helped me to perform well in academics. The faculty was very supportive to all the students. My interest to pursue higher education developed since graduation time,not only in academics but in my overall development the college really helped me . The environment of the college for studies was very good.

The decision to pursue my higher education in the field of Data Science was highly inspired by the facilities available at JDMC. Beginning from year one, Mathematica to visualize ample differential equations followed by education in R Programming, one of the best data science programming tools, were taught. The motivation for me to do research was instilled in me by the faculty members. One of the most influential events that aided my interest in Data Science was the Data Science Workshop organized by the department. After this event, I was motivated to work on various projects in Data Science.

I am currently in my 3rd year and have been part of many things that JDMC in name organise like i have been part of hindi debating, English literature, gandhi study circle, Chetna, Avani and NSS society of JDMC which had really helped me in building my social life along with it had enhanced leadership skills, confidence level and interaction skills.

Apart from societies i had been working and attending events organised by almunae association which is like the cherry on cake it is so good to see our college working on this and had inspired me to be alumna member after my graduation and the last very important point is our college offers a lots of add on courses and internship opportunities which is a must for students in UG.

Studying in JDMC really help me in my communication skills, to be more creative . As there are many society in this college, being in North East society help me to involved in such a beautiful diversities and to be open to several new things and people. Sociology Department of JDMC has played a great role in shaping my personality and choices. There are different things that i learned that are beyond the text. I have started analysing and thinking critically. JDMC has given me a healthy space to discover, reflect, think and re-learn. In year 2019 i took admission in Janki Devi Memorial College . At first i was not aware of anything. Everything was new all were excited to start there new session (as first day of college) with all green environment.

In 1st semester it took time for me to get settled. From 2nd semester I am able to connect myself with others and i was able to express my point of view . All started with when ma'am appointed me as a class representative (till last semester). This gave me self confidence. I took part in Research unit (khoj),parag society (where I was a hospitality head),Gandhi study circleand many activities. All this started with friendly environment given by janki Devi memorial college . teacher were so supportive and helped us a lot during online classes. For education teachers took regular classes, test ,assignment that keep us busy with our work. for career they have guided us .

As a student of JDMC I feel proud because this college has a great facility and excellent environment for students. They provide great experience teachers.
