About Heritage Club

The Heritage Club of Janki Devi Memorial College aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of history, culture, and heritage among students. The club provides a vibrant platform for exploring diverse perspectives and engaging with the past in creative and critical ways. Its programmes are designed to extend learning beyond classrooms through lectures, workshops, cultural performances, heritage walks, and interactive sessions with scholars and practitioners. Heritage Club also organizes exhibitions, performances, and student-led discussions to cultivate historical consciousness and cultural sensitivity. The club seeks to nurture curiosity, analytical thinking, and a sense of responsibility towards preserving and interpreting our collective past, thereby inspiring students to become informed and empathetic custodians of our cultural heritage.
