IQAC 2020-21

The IQAC, in its continued endeavour to promote conscious, consistent and catalytic efforts to internalize quality consciousness and improve the overall performance of the institution, has taken several initiatives during the academic session.

  • Conduct of first External Academic Audit for all the departments in June 2020 for the session 2019-20 and the second External Academic Audit in May 2021 for the session 2020-21
  • Including parents’ representative in IQAC
  • Timely filling up of Feedback Forms by students, faculty, non-teaching staff, parents and Alumni
  • Conduct of regular IQAC meetings
  • Creation of official email-ids for all students
  • Creation of online forms to facilitate compiling of information for AQAR
  • Free Certificate Course on “Basic Computing Skills” to help our students who were facing problems with adapting to ICT and online classes

Formalization of the following JDMC-IQAC Centres: The setting up of the Centres was proposed in the IAC meeting and after detailed deliberations held in the Staff Council Meeting, the following Centres have been set up:

  • Research Centre
  • Centre for Career Counseling, Career Opportunities and Skill Enhancement
  • Centre for Universal Values and Ethics
  • Centre for Extension and Outreach Activities
  • Centre for Gender Equity Studies
  • E-Resource Centre

Several events have been organized for various stakeholders- students, faculty, non-teaching staff and parents.
