Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
Vision
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Janki Devi Memorial College, established in 2015, is the primary body for quality assurance, quality enhancement and quality sustenance. It plans, develops, and monitors mechanisms to build and promote a quality culture through institutionalizing and internalizing various quality-enhancing and sustaining initiatives with the objective of achieving excellence in every domain of institutional functioning. The functions of the IQAC include:
- a) Development and application of quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities of the institution
- b) Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment to impart quality education
- c) Faculty development to equip them with the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process
- d) Design, collection and analysis of feedback from all the stakeholders on the institutional processes and its follow-up for quality enhancement
- e) Dissemination of information on various quality parameters to all the stakeholders
- f) Organization of workshops and seminars on quality-related themes
- g) Record-keeping and documentation of programmes and activities leading to quality improvement
- h) Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of the best practices
- i) Development and maintenance of institutional database for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing institutional quality
- j) Periodical conduct of Academic and Administrative Audits along with their follow-up activities
- k) Following the guidelines and parameters of NAAC including preparation and timely submission of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR)
