About The Career Opportunity Cell
Since 2005, the Career Opportunity Cell has been working tirelessly under the guidance of Dr. Poonam Bewtra (Convenor). The vision of the Cell has been to empower the young women of our college by providing them with job opportunities. Over the years, the Cell has been able to pitch in some of the renowned organizations in the college for placement of its students. We have placed students in S&P Capital IQ, EY, Fluor Daniel, Genpact, Aon Hewitt, Concentrix, ICICI Prudential etc over the years. Besides Placement, the focus has also been to give corporate exposure to first- and second-year students by providing them internship opportunities.
MESSAGE FROM CONVENOR
The Career Opportunity Cell of JDMC aspires to be a space where the students take their first flight into the professional world. In a time where we strive hard for equality, the desire to place students in jobs drives each one of us in the COC. We provide them with counselling sessions to help the students find their feet. Rigorous discussions equip the students to filter their thoughts to meet the requirements of the industry. A combination of supportive assistance with the interviews by the top players in the market hones their skills while also providing them job opportunities to match their interests.
