Alumnae

Alumnae Messages

A true indicator of the love and loyalty to one’s alma mater is the extent to which alumna expresses their views of their college. When colleges get it right, they produce graduates who are successful in their chosen path and have an affinity to and love for their alma mater.

  • I am originally from Patna and when I started my study at JDMC, I was still a teenager who had just moved to a new city in pursuit of a college degree. It was my first time away from home and my parents and to add to my stress I was doing Maths Honours. God, it was tough and emotionally stressful! However, with the support of my teachers and the friends I made at JDM, I managed to cope up with the pressure and secure a first class degree. It was an achievement for me! The teachers in Maths department were friendly and helpful. In fact, the overall environment at JDM was warm and I had a pleasant time.

  • From the studies to the enjoyment, the time in JDMC was an amazing adventure which gave me great memories. I want to pursue for Ph.D and contribute my knowledge towards the society of Mathematics. Furthermore, I want to inspire young minds to pursue maths as a career and not be scared of this subject. My aim is to help the students see the beauty of maths and how easy it can be, once you understand it.

Deeksha Bhardwaj
(2012-15)

  • The best part about the whole three years of graduation for me personally was the interaction I had with the teachers of our department. Contrary to popular theories of teachers not caring much about your studies and being strict with marks and unhelpful with doubts regarding the curriculum, I personally found the teachers to be very friendly, strict when the need be, but there was never a moment when a teacher said no to clarifying my doubts in or outside the classroom. Apart from that, I found them to be very encouraging when it came to co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Their enthusiasm and belief in our capabilities is what instilled in us the confidence to do better.

Aparna Nayyar

It has provided me with the necessary tools to enhance my skills more, taught me valuable knowledge about this diverse world and people and concepts in general and eventually will enable me to hopefully become more successful in life when I finally graduate from this college.

Neha Arora
(2013-16)

  • Exactly how it was meant to be. Academics, non-academic lessons, that are going to be in my mind throughout my life. Thankful for each & every person I met there. Professors,  their guidance & support, all were there when I needed the most. JDMC made me level up. What else am I supposed to write. I was kind of anti-social student. Didn't interacted with everyone,  didn't participate in anything still got the support & guidance when I asked. Grateful, all I have to say.

Prachi Bhardwaj
